My review is primarily with the company A PLUS utilized to transport my car. HIS WILL FOR US TRUCKING COMPANY INC, based in California. From lousy communication (typically only via text messages) to late pickup to a MAJOR accident in which 9 cars were totalled along with the trucking companys truck!
The driver was cited for operating too fast for conditions. I looked up his DOT rating and in all aspects that are much higher than the national average.
I found out more about the accident from media and news outlets on the internet than I did from the wife of the driver. When I pressed for answers, I was basically told not to contact them anymore, contact their insurance agent. The insurance agent doesn't return phone calls, wouldn't make arrangements to get my license plates back. I was told I could put personal items in the car (up to 100 pounds) due to the delay, but that they wouldn't be responsible for them.
