On 12/18/2006 I was contacted by Eastern Connection regarding a quote request through ebay. I was to have a vehicle transported from Viginia to washington state. I like everyone else was scammed from my money. I spoke with one of the companys employees "Lora" who advised they would pick up my vehicle on the 20th or 21st of December and have it to my door within 14 business days. Here it is three weeks late, they still haven't even made an atempt. I was told I had to pay in full to complete the order. They drew money from my account in the amount of $1130.00 before I even had a chance to read, sign, or fax back to them a signed contract. My copy of the transaction shows they drew the money from my account at 1218 hours their time on th 18th. I didn't receive the my fax copy until 1330 hours their time on the 18th. I called their dispatch several times to confirm they received it. They stated I would have to call on the 19th to find out. So what it comes down to, I was asked to sign a contract and other documents stating they could take the money out of my account AFTER THEY ALREADY DID. I was not advised at any time of the $250.00 charges until after the fact. It is now the 4th of January and all I have done is get nothing but the run around from these A-HOLES. The best part is I kept track of times, dates, and everyone I spoke with including what they stated. I haven't been to New York, but I'm looking forward to my vacation their in the next couple of months. I believe they think because you live on the other side of the country, that you will not come to their city and drag their sorry asses into court. Guess what, see ya soon! I have already contracted with another awesome company named Monstar Transport 1-800-966-6782. Great people, and awesome service.
