The company apparently no longer is doing business with credit card companies listed on their web site. Instead, they wanted a checking account number which they could debit electronically. When we called to cancel the pickup of our Honda Accord, they said it was impossible to cancel. They proceeded the next day to withdraw the entire amount of their bid from the account although they did not have a signature or a signed contract. Contact with this company by phone received threats, rudeness, and hang-ups. We had to use another company to move our car across country. The company agreed to refund the money if our original posting were withdrawn. The original posting was lifted, but three weeks later, they have failed to follow through and the bank has initiated action against them. Victims should report similar complaints of internet fraud to the Federal Government at their Internet Crime Complaint Center.
