I had to have my car shipped from California to Texas rather quickly. I did a quick Google search on transporters, filled out one form I saw and to my surprise received several quotes. Although I needed the car shipped quickly, cost was still a factor. One quote was about $50 less than A Across USA, but when I re-read the quote I noticed this was for Economy transport as compared to A Across USA's standard travel. When I looked at the other company's standard travel it was actually more than my A Across USA quote.

I had a couple of questions and contacted Ryan via email. He responses were within the hour of my sending the question. I was very impressed by his responsiveness, and because of this and the price, I decided to go with A Across USA. (I never did receive a response from the other company I was considering.) Ryan gave me a an approximate range of dates he could have the car picked up, and once I submitted my deposit, I had a call from the drive within 48 hours telling me approximately when he'd be there to collect the car.

The driver was very courteous and cautious when loading my car onto the carrier. Although A Across USA tries to do literally door to door, it would have been a little troublesome to get down my street with a car carrier. The driver met me approximately one block from my house, so it really wasn't a problem at all.

My experience with A Across USA was great. I received several quotes, and even had one company calling me continuously. They also happened to have the most expensive quote of $800. My car was received in Texas in the same condition it left me. My father-in-law is thinking about buying a car in Texas and having it shipped to him. I would highly recommend A Across USA.
