This was really the worst service in 5 yrs. I regulary buy classic MG,s in the USA and let them ship to Europe. This MGA not running had to be transported from Ohio to Elzabeth in NY. On 06-17-2005 they promised me to pick up this car within 10 days for 600 USD. After that they told me that I did not inform them that the car was not driveable and that I had to pay extra 200 USD. Altough I did inform the girl (Maureen) I spoke to on the telephone about this, on their form,s they do not ask for special surcomstances so I found that rather strange. I payd by credit card imidiately, but after that the car was never picked up.
They promised every time you did call that they were on the way.
The last promise they made was that they had sceduled the pick up tomorrow and that the seller was informed. Nobody showed up and nobody was informed.
Untill 07-27-2005 the car was still not picked up. After an other promise they e-maild me that the truck was wrecked. Always you have to inform yourself because you do not hear anything from them. It was realy a disaster and cost me a lot of money.
I really can understand that things can go wrong but the way this company behave, and treat their customers is really far below every standard. At last I informed them that I could not wait any longer and wanted my money back. They told me that they will mail me a check for 600 USD but that the 200 USD extra was for costs they made trying to get the car etc. UNBELIEVEABLE.
