7-Star Auto Transport quoted $ 1,100.00 to ship my 4500 pound Land Rover Discovery II across the country. This was among the most competitive quote I received. The Rover was delivered for exactly $ 1,100.00 with NO hidden or extra charges. Communication with 7-Star was excellent. I delivered my car directly to the transport truck (driven by, Lithuanian native, Alfred) in Oakland, CA who delivered it directly to New York City in 5 days. I gave permission for Alfred to unload the DiscoII and drive it directly to my daughters residence in Queens. The Truck-to-door service can't be beat. Alfred was friendly, and appeared very experienced and knowledgeable. The Rover arrived dusty (from a cross country trip in an open transport truck) but in perfect shape. This was my FIRST auto transport experience, so I was aprehensive, and worried if I had chosen wisely. Turns out, that I had nothing to worry about. No delays in shipping. In fact, I allowed for almost 3-weeks for delivery and only needed 5 days total. I worried that the Rover would be delivered a transfer lot in the middle of nowhere waiting foranother driver. Not so. A PERFECT experience for me.
