First off this company is full or liars. I recently purchased a car from a dealership in Texas and needed it transported to Hawaii. The car was never picked up from the dealer-although they told me it was. After the NUMBEROUS lies and AVOIDING my calls I decided that I would find another carrier. I instructed the dealership NOT to release my vehicle to anyone until I provide them with another company. In the meantime I told 5 Star that I will no longer need their services, phoned my credit card compnay to recieve my deposit back and enlisted services with another transporter. My vehicle was picked up from my new carrier the next day.

TWO days after the cancelation took place the dealership called to let me know that 5 Star tried to pick up my car! My contact at the dealership didn't let them know that it had already left, but let them know that he isn't authorized to discuss ANY matters with them in regards to my purchase. They kept trying to convince him that things were worked out and they were there to pickup my car per my request. He eventually asked them to leave then notified me. CAN YOU IMAGINE! What were they going to do???

I was enraged! I contaced every agency possible to get the word out about this company. I even went to the State of Florida commissions, Federal Transport Division, BBB, and also contacted a few lawyers as well. All the while I was trying to obtain 5 Stars legal advisors, should I need to forward a law suit, who do I sent it to? They didn't tell me anything, wouldn't even tell me the name of the companys owner, wouldn't give me their attorney's name, NOTHING. Long story short, DO NOT GO WITH THIS TRANSPORTER. It's obvious that they have NO ethics. And that Katie girl, the 'customer specialist' for lack of a better word....is an idiot. They didn't get my money but they sure pissed me off. It's a shame that I didn't look into this website before I had to go through this ordeal but hopefully this post will prevent others from taking the chance.
