This review really tests the boundries of fairness.
Mr. Paul Girard called us this morning asking if we had a carrier for his vehicle. I replied to him no we didn't but he day was not over, and we should be prepared for a back up plan just in case we need to have it shipped tomorrow the 18th. We were given a 2 day pick up window which in hindsight we should not have agreed to given the snowbird season is in full affect (4100 vehicles waiting in Florida) and the restriction of delivery times (We turned down 3 carriers because they wanted to deliver prior to his set delivery time). Normal pickup window northbound this time of year is 1-4 days. But still our pricing was the highest on the dispatch board going to Rhode island. We had put All but $39.00 of our fee to ensure his vehicle was $100.00 higher then any other vehicle on the board. We do this because we always honor our price. And we always get the job done the right way.
The relationship soured when Mr. Larue accused us of taking a deposit at sign up when in fact 4 Corners Transport never takes a deposit with out first having the carrier hired. When I confronted him on this he begrugdely apologized. He then cancelled the order 30 minutes later after we had made the back plan operational. My guess he was embarrased for the false accusation.
We would have had a carrier hired for Mr.Girard by tomorrow. In fact if you read our reviews (we have 1 negative, this one) we would have gotten the job done. We always do.
