One of my rental cars ( I am in the used car rental business)
was rented from me in Connecticut and never returned. I reported it as stolen in February and it turned up abandoned at the Tulsa Oklahoma airport in August. I don't have any contacts outside of Connecticut and didn't know the people running the Airport Parking from a hole in the ground; they wanted the car out of there soon. Having no idea where to turn I got a bunch of quotes off the internet. I chose Four Corners because of their good review on this site, a price that fell in the middle of the range, and the fact that they were helpful but not pushy. I had several carriers telling me that if I shipped with anyone but them I would have no idea of when the car would be picked up or dropped off and worse. This made me not want to ship the car with any of them. The driver Four Corners contracted with, Ovi, told me he would pick the car up on Monday. He called me Friday and said he was picking it up Saturday AM,2 days early, which he did. He said he would be dropping the car off Tuesday or Wednesday. He called me Monday afternoon and told me to expect him between 6 and 7 PM that night. He showed up right about 7PM. I had the car back about four days earlier than I expected it and everyone I dealt with was great. Ovi had a nice, enclosed, truck similar to what new Porsches are shipped in and was very clean cut and courteous. I will use Four Corners again the next time I have an out of state nightmare beyond my towing range.
