We live in Florida and, after making a new car purchase, we wanted to ship my wife's old car to her sister in Colorado. We researched "Auto Transport" companies for months prior to making our selection. There is so much confusing info out there and so many companies and website. Many look professional and on the up and up. Even the best seem to have a few bad reviews. Of course most rely on independent contractors and they have no direct control over them. However 1st Choice Shipping had several things going for it I suggest you check before going with any company. Great ratings on this site; accreditation by the BBB (check the site) and an A rating with the BBB; they also had a "do not use" list of contractors that do not perform well; they make sure your car stays on the same truck all the way to it's destination (no terminals or switching of trucks).

So, how was our experience? Flawless. These people actually communicate with you, unlike other firms who gave us quotes and then either didn't communicate or harrassed us afterwards.

We paid a $200 deposit and the vehicle was picked up exactly when they said it would be. Our community was too small for the truck to fit into, but that was fine becuase where they called when they got to our area and they just happened to be in the parking lot where my wife works! How perfect. We brought the car down-they loaded it up and we were told it would be delivered iin one week. It was to be the last stop.

During the transport we had a few questions and all were answered promptly by the people at 1st Choice. Then, like clockwork, my sister-in-law got a call the next week and met the driver with a cashier's check for the balance ($600). In fact, the car was already parked in her driveway when the driver knocked on the door. Talk about door-to-door service! The walk around proved there was no damage and all was good.

I know different things can happen to other people, but for us this was a fantastic experience.

Beware of other companies who tell you about their reputation. One claimed to be accredited by the BBB and have a great rating. They were not only NOT accredited, but had an "F" rating. I appreciate the honesty, communication and straight forward way 1st Choice handled our order and delivered on what was promised to a "t".
