I called 1st choice shipping in late August to have my car shipped from MA to CA. I tried to plan it so that i would only be in CA for a few days before my car arrived. I was in for a big surprise when my car was not delivered til October. My car was not even picked up from my home in MA until mid September and then it took over 19 days to get from MA to CA. I called 1st Choice and asked where my car was and they said that the driver had not called them to tell them that the car would be late so i should not worry about it. Of course the next day the driver was still not there, and the day after that still no word. I then called the driver who was very rude to me and said he would try to have it there a few days later. I told 1st Choice that the driver was rude to me and they said drivers usually have poor customer service skills. Well, I paid $1,300 to have my car shipped and 1.) it is late and 2.) no one is doinng anything about it and 3.) the driver is being very rude. If 1st choice hires drivers that talk rudelycustomers then that reflects poorly upon them. The driver eventually got here with my car and he came at 10:30 at night which also bothered me. My car whe it got here was covered in oil that had leaked from another car, and after two times through the car wash and scrubbing my car with cleaner i still have not gotten it all off. This was a horrible 1sy shipping experience and I would not recommend it to anyone unless they want their car to take over a month to reach their destination, be spoken to rudely and have their car covered in oil.
