Having shipped a car once before (from NY to CA through Autolog), I was really skeptical about shipping my car back to the East Coast. However, after reading the reviews on this site, I decided to try shipping again- but through another shipping company, even if I were to pay a bit more. I chose 1st Choice Shipping because of the great reviews that it got. A few other companies matched 1st Choice Shipping in terms of ratings, but after reading the reasons behind the rare negative ratings that each of these companies received, 1st Choice Shipping seemed to stand out in terms of responsiveness and any criticism was relatively benign. Also, they were the only company to actually post replies, showing that they actually cared about how people responded to their operation.

I found the experience to be completely amazing. Rosemary kept me updated on her progress of finding a carrier, gave me choices on pick-up times, and even checked in with me to make sure the pick up had gone smoothly. The carrier they had chosen (Ideal Express-MO) was courteous, careful, and efficient. Best yet, I got my car in great, clean, condition, and in only 8 days from Coast to Coast! What a difference from the 28 days it took with Autolog! And it was obvious that the car was on the truck the whole time, never in a terminal, just like they said it would be. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.
