Ray and 1 Flat Rate are far and away the best company I worked with. This member of the US Navy gives him and his company the highest rating possible. Ray was able to rescue me from Red Carpet Transport. After 2 weeks with Red Carpet I was beginning to think that all transport companies may just be out for money and not care about the customer. Then, I contacted Ray, at 1 Flat Rate, on a Thursday and he was able to get my boat move set up and accepted by Friday morning. That’s right with a 1 day turn around he was able to set up my boat move. As a member of the military and being forced to move on Uncle Sam’s schedule Ray was a beacon of honesty, integrity, and hard work. I called one morning at 7 am and he answered and he called me one night at 10 PM. I only work those kind of hours when I’m deployed to the desert.
The Move was set with a pick up on Sunday from Pensacola and delivery on Thursday to San Diego. The transporter Ray chose was extremely professional, punctual, and courteous. He was a boat and Motorcycle hauler and kept me informed of his pick-up, progress, and delivery.
In the 2 weeks prior to contacting 1 Flat Rate, I worked with Red Carpet Transport. Red Carpet did not return calls, did not keep me informed of progress and when I canceled my order with them they tried to blame me for the asking them to work hard.
In summary, choose 1 Flat Rate and avoid Red Carpet at all costs.
