Yes. As you correctly point out, the truck broke down and there was a delay in picking up your vehicle. You declined another carrier we had as back up. You chose to drive the ten miles to another State to pick it up from the facility. Your vehicle was delivered safely 3000 miles away and you did not pay a cent until you took delivery. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Naturally, you are upset. I was on a flight six months ago and it too was delayed taking off. I was upset. I gave the captain a piece of my mind when getting off. He mentioned something about a mechanical issue.
