Delivered Car With No Dents, but.......

Before I begin, I'd like to state that I take care of my car so I know it inside and out. Also, this is the second time I have had my car delivered across country.

As stated in the subject, my 2010 Honda Accord EX-L V6 arrived with no dents.

There were, however 3 areas of paint/plastic scratches that were not present previously. I didn't notice them when my car was delivered because it was a little dirty.

One set of scratches is on the side of the rear drivers side lights. It is a series of linear scratches. It is as if something was carelessly rubbed hard against it.

Another set of linear scratches are on the passenger side, just above the rear doors. Again, it looks as if something was rubbed hard against it.

The third scratch is a single circular scratch near the driver's side door- the plastic between the driver's side window and the rear window (sedan). It is as if someone was carelessly waving the key around.

In conclusion, no major damage, but if I had seen these before the driver left, I would have sought damages. I do not recommend this to those who expect their car to arrive in the EXACT same condition that it was picked up.

I don't directly blame this on the broker, they were a pleasure to deal with. I blame the actual company that delivered my car (Ace Auto Transport, Riverside, CA). They just don't hold vehicles to the same standard that some of us do. They deliver the car without major damage, but I don't get the feeling that they "take care" of the car like you would want them to. I probably won't use this broker again because they do business with Ace Auto Transport. Actually, I'm hesitant to transport my car in the future because of the general carelessness that I experienced this time around.
