Driver stopped 1 mile from house because of trees. I wish he had phoned and I could have gotten him to our home using a simpler route. I drove to the truck, double parked by the train station since I did not think of another solution. He loaded the car efficiently. Driver offered to pay for a cab, or flag someone down to drive me home. (Our village has no public transport and but one cab, not to be seen). But I chose to walk home. I just wish he had phoned to review his driving route.
