I hate to do this but it is fact what happened to me with this Company and me not sharing this wouldn't be fair. My wife is in the Military PCS ing from Orlando, FL to Killeen, TX. I was making arrangements, enough time in advance to get my POV picked up. I was already in Texas waiting for my wife and kids to get here. As soon as I put it out there on the internet 1 Shot got in contact with me. They sounded like they knew what they were talking about, so I decided to hire them. They asked me to sign an electronic form online to confirm the pick up, including a $150 deposit. As soon as I signed it I have never heard from them again. About a week later I called Rene' to see if he received my confirmation. He said everything is fine and the driver will be in Orlando, FL on the scheduled day, which was a Saturday. The day before the pick up I called again to find out if everything is going according as planned and he assured me that the driver will get in contact with me Friday night, if not Saturday morning. He was kind enough to even give me the number for the driver. Nothing happened Friday, so I called again Saturday morning, because they are closing their office Saturday at 1400 hours. He mentioned that the driver is running a little behind but he is in Kissimmee, FL which is about 45 minutes away from my house. I called the driver's number and he never picked up the phone. In fact, the phone was turned off and I am still waiting for a call from the driver... Saturday afternoon came around and I was stuck with no contact person. I waited all day Saturday and Sunday and nothing happened. I couldn't even get a courtesy call from 1 Shot Express! My wife was supposed to fly out Tuesday so I was sitting here in Texas trying to figure out what to do. Luckily I found another company on Sunday afternoon to take care of my problem, which they did. I called 1 Shot Express monday morning to find out what happened and to get my $150 deposit back. And all they could say is they are sorry, and that they could not give me my $150 back unless I do some ridiculous thing that was in the fineprint of the contract. Needless to say, I did not get my money back! I know I should have looked at the fine print of the contract, but that's beside the point, because I know my money is gone. I am writing this, especially military personell and their spouses not to get in this same stressfull situation I did. The way they handled business was not acceptable! As soon as they got my deposit they have never called me back!
