Overall, the company was good. The car was delivered within 8 days from Seattle to Ohio with no damages except for the car being dirty itself. I inquired about a quote for moving the car back in November, moving end of January. Something I learned was that they do not know anything about the carrier or time of pick-up until 1 day before. The pick-up date has a range of two days, they were late a day within this range as there was no carrier in the area. Pick-up requires flexibility and patience, but I wish that they can schedule it out further and confirm it so I could have given notice earlier to the individuals helping me since I was no longer living in Seattle - my flight out was the day after the carrier was supposed to come. The one huge downside is, I was originally quoted $800 and I understood that maybe the price would fluctuate by $100 because of road conditions, however, the final quote was an increase of $300 and this quote was provided to me the day the car was picked up so its not like I could find another carrier. Their reasoning was that it was "the cost the carrier wanted". I believe the company could have honored the original rate quoted at or negotiated down so that it was not such a drastic increase, especially since I needed to pay in cash when the car was received. This may be all companies with price increases, but something to be aware of.

Thank you for your feedback - you bring up a very important point about timing and pricing. Our original quote for your route was actually higher than the $800 you mention in the review. You requested a starting price much lower than our recommendaiton. We agreed to make a lower offer on your behalf but the final contract is dependent on carrier agreement. At the time you wanted to ship, available carriers had better offers from other customers, so yours was declined. Many first time shippers are surprised to learn that we don't compel carriers to work for certain prices - sorry that we didn't make that clear for you. Carriers don't want to negotiate, they accept the best paying jobs available. Our starting quotes reflect the current market so for a quick confirmation, it's best to offer a fair market price. If you want to try for a bargain, we are happy to help but that can affect timing...or it might not work at all. So sorry that we did not do a good job of preparing you for the risks of trying for an extra low rate.
