After purchasing a car out of state, I received a quote from Graham for economy shipping ($405 carrier fee and a $290 broker’s fee). Per Graham's recommendation, we placed an initial offer hoping to get an empty spot on a truck passing through Ohio. I also added gap coverage ($98) to the overall quote.
After waiting a few days without any carrier interest, I worked with Graham to increase the carrier's fee to bring it to the lower end of estimated market rates ($600). The next day, Graham received an offer from Safe Way Auto ($950) which was more reflective of actual market rates.
I accepted the offer, spoke with the assigned Safe Way Auto driver, and arranged the pickup from the dealer. Five days later, the driver and I arranged for a convenient delivery in a nearby parking lot, completing the shipment. The car arrived a bit dirty, as expected, but had no damage from the trip. The driver was cheerful and friendly, and certainly met the expectations set via Safe Way Auto's 99% rating.
Overall, Graham was very clear and direct when explaining the pricing structure, likely timeline for acceptance of the load, and overall market conditions for my shipment. Graham helped make the process smooth and stress-free for my first auto shipment.
