Never having experience with cross country shipping, I was in the dark at the beginning of the process....but Keith of Andrew Company was helpful in answering my questions and provided guidance through the process. Was a bit concerned about the timing of the pickup as the contact in CA was more than an hour from where the car was to be picked up. But all's well that ends well, as the driver eventually picked up the car, and called me a day or so before delivering it in NJ. He didn't deliver to my home location, as he noted that his rig was too large to maneuver along our country roads, so I agreed to meet him about 30 minutes from home base along a highway where he could unload without challenges. One note, after agreeing on the price, I received a call from Andrew
Company that the driver needed $20 more to make the deal work. I agreed....but didn't like the idea that the original price wasn't "on the money".
