excellent move

We choose Door to Door based on the excellent ratings and remarks from users on this web site. Many of the reviews on other transportation companies told horror stories of cars never being picked up, or picked up very late or prices changing when the car got there or fuel charges added. Also it said people agreed to a price, paid their fee, and were then told a higher price when it came time to move so you would have to find another company and you would lose the initial fee I went over my concerns with Loretta and felt very comfortable that their procedures would work for us. We were of course inundated with other emails and phone calls, most of them with slightly lower prices but much lower ratings. Door to Door seemed more interested in the total move and not just getting the initial fee
The entire move was smooth from start to finish. Loretta was great to work with and kept me informed through out the process. She was upfront about all costs and had me confirm before charging the initial fee. I felt the ice was fair and never changed.
The car was picked up at a local K.Mart very near our house since we live on a narrow, winding street. They were a little late because of traffic on Fridays from Carolina Beach, but this is something only locals would be aware of so I was expecting them to be slightly late. The driver was vey polite and professional and quickly got the car loaded.We told them we would be in Arizona , 10 days later, and it was delivered that next morning early in front of the house where my son will be living while going to school. It was delivered even an hour early
Moving cars is a very stressful process and it was great to have a company do exactly what they said they would do. We would highly recommend Door to Door for moving your car or truck.
