My experience with Amerifreight was okay. They met most expectations, but my two issues were the time it took them to find a driver (10 days after my requested pick up date) and exceeding the cost estimate by over 50%. I understood that it could take up to 15 days to find a driver, so they did meet that requirement, but in the future I would look for a service that can meet the dates more precisely. Also, they quoted me $585 for the delivery of my car, and while I expected the price to possibly exceed that (being an estimate and not an exact price), I certainly didn't expect it to be as high as $900, which it was. They explained that it was because Delaware is a difficult state to get drivers for, but if that is the case then they need to factor that into their estimates. The agent I worked with was professional and friendly and answered my questions well, but the way the company schedules drivers and creates estimates means I will likely try to find a different company if I ever need to ship a car in the future.
