I called AmeriFreight and got a quote for $1750. It wasn't the cheapest quote I got, but after a little research into how the industry works, I chose to go with AmeriFreight because the representative I talked to on the phone (Josh) was upfront and honest and overall seemed easy to work with, and I wanted to be sure the car would be transported on the schedule I wanted. I agreed to go ahead, and he called me back about 30 minutes later saying a carrier had accepted the quote and could pickup the car the desired day. The only minor hiccup was I had to give another call to AmeriFreight a few days later to get the contact info for the carrier (I guess they just forgot to send it to me, everyone's human). After that, I spoke with the carrier and sure enough the driver picked up the car on time and it arrived in California promptly and looking great. The service was provided as promised for the quoted price, so would certainly recommend.
