nobody had a clue

This started as a normal transport. They were really good about sending me docs to sign but after that nobody had a clue. I had a deadline to meet and that deadline was made VERY CLEAR. The price went up by $90 from one day to another AND once the car was picked up, again, nobody had a clue who had my car, who picked up my car, or when it would be delivered. The car was a day late (not a bad thing if one sits around waiting but I have a life AND again made it VERY CLEAR by when I needed the car). I also made it clear that if they could not make my deadline that I did not need their service. I was given the old "oh not a problem" until the very end. Customer Service did not answer my phone messages. The sales rep. had no clue. The Manager sent me the driver's info. which was not working. I had to postpone my flights in order to wait for the car. When I asked what would happen to the car if no one was available to receive it their answer was, "it would be up to the driver" who again no one knew who he was or how to get a hold of him.
The car was delivered a day late by a very nice man but he said, "he couldn't call me because he wasn't given any info other than a delivery address." Hmmm. I just happened to see him on a side street walking around and a transport trailer parked on the side as I was returning to delivery address after dinner. No one knew him, he knew no one. Whose fault was all this uncertainty? Well, the company I hired is at fault; Southbeach Transport. The only person making changes, running around in circles, and providing customer service was me and I wasn't getting paid. Hmmm again. Maybe they would have had a better grip on the transport if it was in the Florida area. Lesson learned.
