Nightmare Experience - Addendum

I initially appreciated Philham's apology and the commitment to refund our $99.00 fee, even after they read our critical review. That seemed to imply some level of integrity. All we ever wanted was for Philham to honor the contract & deliver our vehicle in the time frame promised, to the place specified and without being forced to pay another $100 to the driver. Unfortunately Philham has subsequently advised us that they object to us bringing this extremely disappointing situation and these facts as presented to everyone's attention and in retailiation has revoked the refund. The email received from Philham; "After all the negative review that you gave us I will call my credit card company and show all the records that you emailed me..we have done our services and will show all the bill of lading to the credit card company". While the vehicle was eventually delivered, which would seemingly entitle Philham to their fee, we never requested, demanded or even asked for a refund and it was apparently offered to us to somehow, at least partially, compensate us for the extraordinary expenses we were forced to incur and the extreme inconvenience we suffered. We are saddened and disappointed by this disturbing reaction on the part of Philham.

We do send our deepest apologies, we would never intentionally jeopardize our reputation for a $99.00 fee. Road and weather conditions are out of our control and from the very beginning we tell all our customers we are brokers, not a carrier, so that no one is mislead. Regarding phone calls, you have both Gilbert and Patrick's numbers and were answered at all times on numerous occasions. We did our absolute best to handle the situation, we even gave you a full refund because of it. I once again extend my sincerest apologies and we are currently restructuring our driver database to ensure this never happens again in the future.
