I'd never shipped a car before now, thankfully a great experience. Leigh always responded to questions within minutes and practically any time of day. Provided status updates at least once per day. Very up front about the broker process, and about the challenge of finding a shipper given under a week prior to Thanksgiving. She found Star Fleet Lines from IN after 5 days of searching; they had my 1970 Corvette in my driveway 4 days after that. I was very lucky to get it shipped so close to the holiday since truckers want to be home w/ family. Quote was $800; final cost was $1200, but I'm very satisfied since $1200 was about half of premium shippers like Reliable, etc, and MUCH faster given my tight timeline w/ remote location. My pickup location was extreme N. Idaho 30mi from Canada; very out of the way. Realize market prices change a lot up/down depending on holidays, locations, etc. AutoGuard is a broker and well-connected with shippers and good at negotiating best price/dates from my experience.
