When selecting this transport company, I thought I would be initially dealing with an actual transporter. I was informed this was only a broker, which doesn't do me any good once things turn sour. The broker was very prompt in securing a driver within a tight deadline, but left me blowing in the wind after that. The driver they selected was unable to give me any sort of time frame for pick-up and even stopped answering my calls. which meant I had to waste my day not knowing when they would show up, but they did at least show up on the scheduled day. The broker told me to not continue to call the driver, as I may irritate them.
I had a car and motorcycle picked-up and delivered at the same location, but they arrived at different times. The car arrived first and I was delighted with the time frame of delivery and the driver giving me a 2 hour window of delivery. The motorcycle arrived the following day in the late afternoon, despite the driver telling me it would be there before 11am. Due to the time of delivery, the location had to be changed, which was managed properly, but the time was then supposed to be by 1pm. The delivery didn"t arrive til 3:30pm. This may not seem like a big deal, but knowing the time of delivery was extremely important because certain arrangements for the acceptance of delivery had to be made. I was unable to meet the delivery because the time frame kept moving. The bike was dropped off, but the driver forgot to leave the keys. I reported this to the driver on Thursday and was told the keys would be delivered by next day air. The keys never made it to me till 4 days later.
I understand things happen, but not having the broker (the person I made the deal with) to assist me with getting answers is frustrating. Money was given to Ship Your Car Now, LLC for them to find me a driver and that is it apparently. Not what I expected.
