International Shipping to Africa

Here is the story. I needed to ship a vehicle to Africa so I did a ground shipping to florida and from there a ROR to africa. The sales rep was the best you would every come across. He answered my questions and even helped out with areas of the shipping that were not part of sales. The huge problem with this shipping was the expected destination date. The shipping vessel apparently took an extra month to get to destination, and we were not informed about the delay. The manager in question was rude when i asked him questions by email and even people within his company know about how rude he is to customers. When my mom called to speak to him, he yelled at her on the phone for not confirming the vessel's arrival, used the word "stupid" a few times in the process and hung up on her. Efforts to reach anyone on international shipping yielded no results after that. Apparently,we were responsible for know that the vessel would be late. But that would be impossible to do if you cannot contact the manager in charge. The vessel company was also instructed not to give us any information about the shipping. I had to call another agent outside this company that they also used for the shipping and pleaded to know the exact date the vessel was to arrive, even their agents at the destination were unreachable. I am not sure if you like being called names and yelled at on the phone or your emails going unanswered, if you dont, please take my advise and do not use this company for international shipping. Oh and if they try to say i am making all this up, I still have the emails to prove it.
