I placed an order a month in advance with dates I needed for pick up and delivery and they told me my price would be $600 or lower because of early notice.I later discovered the dates hadn't been entered. They ended up charging me more than the $625 quoted price. I felt they misled me to get me to sign a contract. They assigned a driver and he was supposed to pick up on a Friday in Kansas and deliver in Savannah on Monday. I had to call the driver on Friday as he did not call me only to discover he was not coming because his delivery before mine did not pay him. He wasn't sure when he would be able to pick up my vehicle. Tropical Auto was closed over the weekend so I had no discourse. I left them a message and sent an email telling them what happened. They didn't respond until I emailed again on Wednesday. Such bad customer service! I was in Savannah on Monday and had to rent a car because my vehicle wasn't picked up or delivered at this point. They charged me $100 for fuel that I didn't use. I ended up using another company with better customer service. So if honesty, price and time matter to you, don't use this company. I paid $100 for unused fuel and $180 for a car rental. Money I didn't plan on because I used this company that would tell you anything to get your business. They are also not members of any organization that could help you arbitrate your issue so just know that if you contract with them, you will regret it.
