I was very happy with my automobile moves through Patrick OConnell and Motor Movers. I moved three vehicles through them over the last month - two to Hawaii and one to the mid-west. I will focus on the Hawaii moves as they were the most complex involving coast to coast shipment and then two stages of ocean shipment, first to Oahu and then to Maui. When I first mentioned the move to Hawaii, I was put in touch with Patrick as he was said to be highly knowledgeable about this move process. And this proved to be the case, he walked me through the various steps and then kept me informed of progress en route at his own initiative. Because of the complexities of moves to Hawaii and the role the ocean shipping company plays in the process, when the vehicle arrives at the other end is hard to predict, even by staying on top of it like Patrick did. Even though I shipped the two vehicles 11 days apart, they both arrived in Maui on the same day - one taking 29 days, the other 18 days. The timing is all about when the shipping company puts them on a boat out of the west coast, when they arrive in Honolulu and when the inter-island ferry is scheduled to run. But between Motor Movers and the shipping company, I was able to stay up to date on progress and pick them up on their first day of availability.

I gave MM sufficient lead time that they were able to work on getting the best price. In each case this took several days, but when the cars shipped, I knew I was getting the best current market price.

All vehicles arrived at their destinations undamaged.
