Needed to ship my car from Los Angeles to Baltimore. Called 10 days in advance to arrange shipment. Two days before scheduled shipment, I was told that it fell through. Key was able to find another shipper for the next day (a day before I originally wanted to ship it), for an additional $130 (to shipper). Had to meet shipper in Wal-Mart parking lot to get my car.

No major complaints, but a couple of minor annoyances to note. For some reason, I was charged twice by Motor Movers for their fee, which was corrected when I called. Not Key's fault, but I was given a time range for pickup the day before pickup and, on the pickup day, the shipper wanted to pick up about two hours earlier than stated. Since I had plans before the time window, I had to keep calling the dispatcher to find out where the driver was. Also, I was told my car would arrive in 8-10 days but it arrived in only 3, which was a bit annoying since I had rented a car for a week. I wish I would have had a better delivery estimate.

Bottom line - the car arrived undamaged at the cost of $800 to the shipper and $200 to Key and company.

However I am glad to hear that you received your vehicle undamaged and that the quote estimate was within the ballpark of what the carrier was asking for. I would like to take this time to reiterate that there was never two charges on your account. Just one Pre-Authorization which was your financial institution withholding funds and then an actual charge that was deducted from the account upon pickup. I hope that you choose Motor Movers again to complete your future vehicle transportation needs.
