We had a mixed experience with Elite Auto Shipper. The good news is that we got our vehicle a day after our first available date, and it was in good condition. The bad news is that our rate was increased by $150. The move was booked over a month in advance, and the original quote was $1475. We had a first available pick up date on a Friday, with a first available delivery day of the Sunday 9 days later. We were flying out to our new home on the Saturday of the week following the first available pick up, so Paul had 8 full days to make sure the car was picked up. On the first available date we called Paul to inquire about when we could expect pick up. It seemed like Paul was not aware that he was supposed to be shipping our car (implied that he wasn't expecting first pick up to be for another week). He told us that pick up would likely be on Monday or Tuesday. On Monday we called again, and he told us he didn't have anything and was working on it. On Tuesday we spoke again, and he told me that he was working on finding a driver. I explained to him again that we were flying out to the new home on Saturday, and so the car needed to be picked up by Friday at the absolute latest. Paul called me back shortly thereafter to let me know that there was a potential driver, but that it would cost us an extra $150 above the quoted price. In the end we agreed to it because the car would be out at our new place when we needed it. There was a snafu with when the driver was supposed to pick up the car (the driver put our address in wrong and drove by us, which delayed pick up by 36 hours). This was not Paul's fault, and he helped make sure everything was smoothed over with the transport company.
