I was impressed with the initial service and contact, however Ship Your Car Now was guilty of something of which I believe there is no excuse - they hired a driver with inadequate insurance. I researched the trucker they hired, the trucking company's website listed insurance of only $50,000. My car was worth $150,000. Had I not discovered this on my own, Ship Your Car Now would have put me in the position of losing $100,000 had the driver rolled his rig.
They apologized and hired another driver with proper insurance. The new pickup date was missed for 2 consecutive days and the resulting delivery was 3 days late. I had to do all the work to ensure pickup from the dealership was completed. Ship Your Car Now was of no help.
I was never given the phone number of the driver by either SYCN or the trucking company and communication with their dispatcher was spotty at best. I was stressed the entire time. It seemed if I wasn't on top of things everything would have fallen apart. Pickup was stressful too, as the driver didn't show up at the location agreed upon. I finally got a hold of the dispatcher and went on a wild goose chase to find out where the driver went. Instead of the agreed upon truck stop with lots of room to unload (where I was waiting) I found him in a residential neighborhood in the middle of nowhere. Why??
Luckily, in the end the car was delivered safe and sound. However, I had no confidence in Ship Your Car Now to get the job done. You should feel confident, not stressed! They are nice people but they really need to get their act together.
