Best decision I could have made...

We currently live in the Salt Lake City area, and my daughter attends college in Kansas City. The drive between Utah and Missouri is long and tedious in good weather, but is downright hazardous when winter weather is a factor. Ship a Car Direct handled all the arrangements and negotiations with transport shippers to send my daughter's car out to KC while she safely flew over the ice storms hammering the Midwest at the time. It was especially reassuring that I had a broker between me and the transport company when some questions about costs came up after the car was already on the transport. I just called Scott at Ship a Car Direct and it was handled.

In the end, using a shipper to transport my daughter's car was the best decision I ever could have made. Money-wise, when I factor in hotels, gas, food, etc., the cost of shipping the car was only slightly more. But then I have to look at time I would have lost at work and wear and tear on the car... and in my mind it all breaks even. But THEN I have to consider the fact that I would have been on the road with my daughter in a small car crossing Kansas during some of the worst ice storms to hit the Midwest in a decade. How do you place a value on that?

So there it is. Using Ship a Car Direct ultimately made sending my kid back to school easier, faster, unquestionably safer, for about the same cost as driving her there myself. I guarantee I will be doing this again.
