No pickup/No contact

We scheduled with this company approximately one week out to transport our recently purchased vehicle from SC to MI. They did not contact me with updates either before or after they failed to pick up our vehicle. After I made inquiries as to the status of the job I received no replies. I subsequently went looking around online for other reviews of this outfit and was shocked and horrified at the majority of negative reviews. I did manage to retrieve my deposit through a credit card dispute and rescheduled with a more reputable company.
I'm business owner myself and customer relations is paramount to good business practice. If the owner reads this then he needs to know that failure to keep your customers informed as to the status of your contracted service is unacceptable, especially when you are dealing with high value items like a vehicle. I wouldn't recommend Passage Auto Transport to anyone.
