Never picked up car

A contract was made in August 2014 for pickup or car by September 29, 2014, with at least 3 days prior availability. We were never notified that they were having difficulty getting someone to pickup the car or that there were mechanical problems with the pickup carrier. It wasn't until we called to find out what time they would be here for the car pickup that we were told that they were having any difficulty. We had a plane reservation for the following day and had no more leeway to wait for the pickup. The supervisor, Abe, seemed indifferent to the fact that we had no where else to leave the car or had no one we could leave it with, inferring that he found it difficult to believe that it really was the case.

We had paid a deposit at the time the contract was signed at the beginning of August. We have since learned that no money should have to be paid until the car is actually picked up. They do not honor that policy, which other companies honor.

We were left with a few hours to find another auto carrier company to pick up our car.
