Got many quotes, chose MOVEWHEELS.COM not because it was cheapest, but because of OK ratings. Called, and specifically asked "is this the TOTAL cost". I was assured YES. Nice lady (Victoria) while on the phone sent me an online signature form while she waited on the phone. I asked could I please pay the total $550 in full as I was taking care of this for my family. She said sorry no - I had to pay a deposit first and they would send invoice for balance later. I signed online form and paid deposit via Palpal. Car got picked up. Sent email & left message to please send me invoice for balance. NO return emails or calls. Driver called my family to arrange delivery - and said cash of $550 had to be there. Yes, CASH. Not Paypal. No invoice. AND for $169 more than I was quoted via email & on phone. I called & called, FINALLY got somebody on the phone I was told I SHOULD HAVE READ FINE PRINT. Went back & looked, and LOOKED (it's fine alright), and found: “Means estimate rate for the carrier services and it does not include $169 amount for service fee & tolls during route”. After my unhappy call, MOVEWHEELS.COM called driver BEFORE delivery and instructed him to make sure we had the $550 CASH before he took car off trailer as there may be a problem. MOVEWHEELS.COM is a BAIT & SWITCH company with savvy phone people. BUYER BEWARE.If I did business like this in my company (quoting one price then adding +30% on delivery) my clients would NOT continue to do business with me.
