Definitely Got-It-Done

Bottom Line: If I have another vehicle to transport, I WILL be contacting David at Get It Done Transportation. David and his crew (though I was only ever able to talk to Dave) got the vehicle transported fast and secure. He found a reputable carrier with a brand new truck who delivered my vehicle much sooner than anticipated. Things moved swift and efficient and there were almost no problems. As a newbie to shipping, I was inundated from every company in the world regarding my shipping quote, so I was glad to pick one that really did get it done without a lot of hassle.

Word to the wise: David's communication skills fell short of my expectations. Being a new customer and never having transported a vehicle before, I felt like i was in the dark. David did a great job of explaining things to me (when I could get a hold of him) but dropped the ball, in my opinion, on updates throughout the process. I guess I expected more communication on his part throughout the whole process. I had to call him several times to get him to forward me the carrier info (wrong email address on first attempt, he claimed), and I'd say that at least 50% of my calls to him went unanswered. Also, a tracking request on his website went completely unanswered and I had no idea the driver was arriving with my vehicle so many days early. This left me scrambling for payment. Lastly, his follow up email requesting this review promised calendars and pens in the mail. That was two months ago. (I dont even want the calendars or pens, but ... do what you say you're going to do ... its the small things that make a BIG difference). Again, he did a great job sourcing a truck for my transport, but I could have used a little more warm-and-fuzzy feeling on the communications side ... that would have brought my rating up from 75% to 100%. I even sent him these notes by email two months ago and he never responded to me, so I even gave him a chance for defense but he never responded. My advice: If you're new to shipping a vehicle, David is good, but you'll feel like you're bothering him to get the updates you want.
